According to data released today from the U.S. Commerce Department, new-home construction fell 5.8 percent last month, with the seasonally adjusted annual rate coming in at only 654,000 new construction projects getting underway. While this number is still a 10.3 percent increase over projects in March 2011, it is a strong indicator that the new-home construction market is still struggling.
